Where We Deploy

Where Real Work Is Too Messy For Generic AI.

We look for high-volume workflows with judgment, exceptions, handoffs, and business risk. If the work can be mapped, governed, and measured, it can become AI-ready.

What We Do

We Make One Painful Workflow AI-Ready.

AI works after the operation is legible: mapped, governed, measured, and owned.

I.

Operations Scan

We sit beside the team, inspect the real workflow, and find where time, money, quality, or control is leaking.

Service column
II.

Workflow Map

We map handoffs, roles, inputs, systems, approvals, decisions, and where work leaves the official process.

Service column
III.

Exception Taxonomy

We classify what breaks, who decides, what evidence is needed, and when a human stays in the loop.

Service column
IV.

Opportunity Map

We rank what should be automated, assisted, monitored, or left alone, tied to a business case.

Service column
V.

Launch & Maintain

We make the workflow AI-ready, deploy the first system, and keep improving it with operators in the loop.

Frequently Asked · For Operators & Founders

Questions We Hear Before Every Engagement.

Direct answers about how we work, what we deploy, and when an engagement makes sense.

What does The Deployment Co. actually do?

We turn operational chaos into AI-ready systems. We sit beside operators, map how the workflow actually runs, capture the exceptions, define the rules, and identify where AI can reliably drive a business outcome. Then we deploy the first system and keep improving it with operators in the loop.

How is this different from AI consulting or buying an AI tool?

Consultants ship recommendations. SaaS tools ship features for everyone. We ship deployed systems specific to your workflows. The deliverable is a mapped workflow, a classified exception taxonomy, a deployed AI agent or tool, and a handover your team owns — not a presentation, not a pilot that dies in Q2.

What industries do you work with?

Insurance, banking and financial services, telecommunications, CPG and retail, professional services, and healthcare admin. We look for high-volume workflows with judgment, exceptions, handoffs, and business risk — work that is too messy for generic AI and too important to leave manual.

How long does a deployment take?

Engagements begin with a two-week Operations Scan beside your team. Most first deployments ship in 6–12 weeks depending on scope, with handover and runbooks included. We refuse projects when we cannot name the workflow that will measurably improve.

What is included in the Operations Scan?

Two weeks of embedded field work. We sit beside the team, inspect the real workflow, map handoffs and exceptions, classify what breaks and who decides, and deliver an opportunity map ranking what should be automated, assisted, monitored, or left alone — tied to a business case. The scan stands alone, no obligation to continue.

Do you build the system too?

Yes. We are not a consultancy that hands over slide decks. After the scan, we build the AI agents, the internal tools, the dashboards, and the runbooks. Then we keep operators in the loop while the system matures in production.

Do you replace people with AI agents?

No. We design for humans in the loop. AI handles the routine handoffs, drafts the documentation, and chases the exceptions. Operators handle judgment, escalation, and the work only humans can do. We classify which exceptions stay with a person before we automate anything.

Do you have public case studies?

Not yet. For now, we show workflow patterns, before-and-after examples, and the operating logic behind our deployments. We only publish named customer stories when the work is real, approved, and safe to share.

Where are you based?

San Francisco, California. Operated from Market Street, near the old Chronicle building. We deploy wherever the work is — most engagements blend on-site embedding with remote engineering.

How do I start?

Book a call at cal.com/iagomaciel or email Iago@thedeploy.co. The first conversation is short: we identify one painful workflow worth scanning, and decide together whether a two-week scan is the right next step.

We’ll Make It AI-Ready.

Two-week Operations Scan. Clear deployment path. Operators in the loop. AI only where the workflow can support it.
